Today, CIRDE is concluding its Annual Consultative Meeting with training sessions, but mostly also space to discuss and share our experiences of CIRDE in the past year and the planning for 2024. We are looking forward to a successful year 2024, as this year is approaching its end with all our activities successfully conducted. We thank all our facilitators and our national team for planning and organizing all the activities and things to be done on a daily matter. At the same time, we want to thank all our participants for enriching our discussions and journeying with us. We appreciate your commitment to CIRDE and to mission of mutual understanding and respect among different faiths and religions.

CIRDE has successfully concluded its fourth Metropolitan Training. From September 4th to September 7th, CIRDE went to Eldoret to welcome the Kisumu Metropolitan region to our third training in the Kisumu Metropolitan region. CIRDE has successfully concluded its third Metropolitan Training 2023. From July 10th to July 13th, CIRDE went to Malindi to welcome the Mombasa Metropolitan region to our third training in that Metropolitan region. News – 30/06/2023
CIRDE is feeling grateful for the training that concluded today. From June 26th to June 30th, CIRDE invited 63 youth (Catholics, Muslims and other Christian denominations) to a training on interreligious dialogue and environmental peacebuilding. The youths have developed concrete action plans on environmental peacebuilding and IRD and we encourage them to continue and execute these plans in the various Dioceses. In February 2023, Rev. Fr. Charles Kilonzo joined CIRDE as the new National Executive Secretary (NES), we thank Rev. Fr. Bernard Ngaruiya for his commitment in the past 1.5 years for pushing and further developing the commission. We look forward to our new NES in further advancing issues of interreligious and ecumenical dialogue and peace.
